I Need Housing Now

Open Doors works directly with nonprofit service providers and rental housing managers and owners. We support and equip our partners so they can help you find quality, affordable housing faster. We do not provide our services directly to consumers. Please use the information below to connect with agencies that provide services:

I DON’T HAVE A HOME

Please visit the Georgia Continuum of Care Contacts for Public Assistance site for help with finding rent assistance and finding a place to live in your current county location. You may be considered homeless if you are:

  • Living on the street
  • Living in a shelter
  • Living in a place not meant to be lived in (abandoned building, your car, etc.)
  • Fleeing domestic violence
  • Living in a place but are about to be evicted or forced to leave

I NEED OTHER SERVICES

For other services (like access to food, employment, clothing, health care and other supports), please visit United Way 2-1-1 for a searchable directory of services. This resource can also be reached from your phone or mobile device 24 hours a day by dialing 211.

If you aren’t homeless, but have income or a voucher to pay your rent, you may use the following sites to locate affordable housing in the Metro Atlanta Area:

Open Doors does not provide case management, housing subsidies, or housing location services to individuals and families directly. We work with the nonprofit service providers in Metro Atlanta who provide these services to eligible consumers.
