The Atlanta Journal-Constitution recently profiled Open Doors as part of the Inspire Atlanta series that celebrates our region’s moments, milestones and people. Each year, Open Doors connects more than 1,000 people with nonprofit partners who get them placed into a home through partnerships with 90 nonprofit organizations, 80 management companies and 350 apartment communities. Open Doors clients who fall behind on rent payments may receive financial assistance to keep them housed.
